50 Round Snub Workout- 6 Shot Guns
Phase One @ 4 yards- Strong Hand Only- Draw & fire- 2 shots, 3X
Phase Two @ 4 yards- Weak Hand Only– Ready position- 2 shots, 3X
Phase Three @4 yards- Failure Drill- Draw & fire- 2 body shots, 1 head shot, 2X
Phase Four @ 4 yards- Bill Drill- Draw & fire 6 shots, 1X
Phase Five @ 7 yards- Strong Hand Only- Draw & fire 2 shots, 3X
Phase Six @ 7yards- Tactical Reload- Draw & fire 2 shots, perform tactical reload with 2 rounds and scan (no further shooting). Return to holster when safe
Phase Seven @ 7 yards- Two Hand Firing w/ Emergency Reload- a) Draw & fire 3 rounds. b) Draw & fire 3 rounds, RELOAD and fire 3 more. c) Draw & fire 3 rounds
Phase Eight @ 15 yards- Long Distance- Draw & fire 2 shots from standing or kneeling, 3X
Training Notes:
- Fire as fast as you can hit! It’s okay to miss in training. If you don’t push the envelope, you will not discover your limitations. Set your mental clock to go as fast as you can and still achieve positive results.
- If possible, incorporate the use of cover when reloading.
- Use a target with a realistic size, high value scoring area.
