Objective: The shooter must demonstrate the ability to make decisive hits when firing at speed.

Ammunition Requirement: 18 rounds

Target: Negative IPSC with the A-zone cut away

Distance: 35, 20 and 10 yards

Begin Exercise: Load and charge with a magazine containing at least 18 rounds and come to a muzzle depressed position, safety on

Phase One @35 yards- On the signal fire 6 rounds as fast as you can hit. Place the safety on when complete. The instructor will record the elapsed time.

Phase Two @25 yards- as above

Phase Three @ 15 yards- as above. End of exercise

Scoring: 10 points will be awarded for every A-zone hit. Zero points for peripheral hits. Maximum point value is 180 points. Divide the point value by total time. For example, 180 points in 20 seconds = 9. A total of 150 points divided by 25 seconds = 6. Bigger numbers are better!
