One of my favorite low-round count practice drills is to combine a Walk Back exercise with a Hole in One exercise. You will need 18 live rounds and 18 dummy rounds. You will also need a two foot square of cardboard, a compass, and a tool to cut the cardboard. Draw a twelve inch circle in the center of the two foot cardboard and then cut out the circle. Starting at ten feet from the target, hang the cardboard with the hole at approximately chest height.

For the drill you’ll need to randomly mix your live round and dummy rounds together. If possible use dummy rounds that are nearly indistinguishable from your live training rounds.
