Moonlight Drive ‘25 – A Reduced Light Exercise

Objective: In a low light setting, the shooter must demonstrate the ability to make decisive hits on multiple threats when shooting from and around a vehicle. Use of cover and safe movement will also be evaluated.

Targets: IPSC target placed in swinger (T1) @ 3yards. Two speed poppers with T2 @ 10 yards and T3 @ 12yards.

Ammunition Needed: At least 6 rounds to be fired.

Range Prop: vehicle

Begin Exercise: Shooter in driver’s seat, hands on the wheel with seat belt fastened. On the signal, engage T1 through the open window with at least 2 shots. Open door, maximize use of cover and knockdown T2. Move to better cover at the rear of the vehicle and knockdown T3.

Scoring: No or No-Go. The shooter must complete the drill in 25p seconds or less with at least 2 good hits on T1. Missed shots on T2 or T3= 2 second penalty. Poor cover= 10 seconds. Unsafe= DQ
