Objective: This drill is designed to test the shooters ability to deliver accurate fire in a compressed time frame. Use of cover and the reload will also be evaluated.

Targets: Two IPSC (T1 & T2) will be placed at 7 yards. Spacing between the targets will be around 3 feet.

Ammunition Requirement: Six rounds total. Begin with 3 rounds only in the gun. Spare ammo for the reload contained on the belt.

Begin Exercise: A handgun containing a total of 3 rounds only will be in a secure holster. On signal draw and fire 2 body shots to T1 and 1 head shot to T2. Move quickly to high cover (two steps to the right), RELOAD and fire 2 body shots to T2 and 1 head shot to T1. The shooter MUST CHANGE POSITION when engaging the targets from cover. End of exercise.

Scoring: Time plus penalties will yield final score. Hits to C zone = 0.5 second penalty. Hits to D zone = 2 second penalty. Missed shot = DQ. With a pistol, a run in 9 seconds or less is superior. Acceptable performance = 13 seconds or less. A run of 14 seconds or less with a revolver is superior. Acceptable performance= 19 seconds or less
