If you’re like me, you’ve carried a handgun for most of your adult life. As any who habitually carry a gun know, it is a continual learning process. If you are lucky, you tend to find out quickly what works for you.
However, what works for me, might not work for you. What works for men, usually will not work for the ladies. This is actually part of my introductory class to firearms safety and something I teach my students. I tell them I have a tote box in my garage full to the top with holsters and gear…and this is just the stuff that I’d don’t use often. That “often used” gear has a large drawer and part of my closet!
We are all built differently and by the same token have different tolerances to placement/location of a concealed firearm…or even one not concealed. So one needs to try things out and see what works for you! It can be expensive…but I’m a firm believer in having the right gear for the right circumstance.
So it becomes an eternal quest. Luckily for us, we are not alone in this quest. We have innovators and new things popping up from other folks just like us, who both like and carry guns. Inventions and improvements are all around us and I’m reviewing one today from Reload Wrap. (www.reloadwrap.com)
