Objective: 

 In extreme close quarters, the shooter must demonstrate the ability to quickly make decisive hits on more than one threat. 

Targets: 

 Two IPSC targets (T1, T2). T1 is a stationary target set 1 yard away and positioned directly in front of the shooter. T2 is set to the left of the shooter, 5 yards forward of high cover. T2 can be a stationary, partial or moving target. 

Ammunition Requirement:  At least 5 rounds. 

Range Props:  High Cover 4 steps to the left of the shooter. 

Begin Exercise 

The shooter will be arms length away from T1. The handgun will be contained in a secure duty holster or in a concealment holster hidden from view. On the signal, draw and fire at least 2 shots using the RETENTION Technique. Disengage and move to cover. Fire at least 2 shots at T2. End of exercise. 

Scoring 

Go/No-Go. First shot on T1 in 2 seconds or less. The shooter must complete the exercise in 6 seconds or less. The two hits on each target must be in the A, B or C zone. Over extending the gun arm, support side arm not in position to block or missed shots equal No-Go and the shooter must repeat the exercise
