Objective- This was drill was designed in order to evaluate the ability of the shooter to quickly make combat effective hits with two hands, strong hand only and support hand only on a threat in close proximity.
Target- Any humanoid target is acceptable. A more realistic high value scoring area can be created with an 8 inch paper plate.
Begin Exercise- The shooter will be positioned 5 yards away, directly in front of the target. A fully loaded handgun will be contained in a duty holster or concealed from view. On signal, on signal, the shooter will draw and fire 1 shot freestyle, 2 shots strong hand only, TRANSFER and fire 2 shots support hand only. The goal is to place all 5 hits in the high value area of the target in 5 seconds or less.
