Small training note of possible note. Heading off the the range to work on some loose rounds drills. (And loose round loading is always only a malfunctioning speed loader away.) Next time you are on the range working on your loose rounds drills, think about mixing in together a number of brass and nickel cased rounds. In the prosses you might note the juggling brass rounds is observably easier that juggling nickel finished rounds. Alternatively nickel finished rounds will generally serve you better whenever you are not going to physically touched as when loading out of loading strips and/or speed loaders. Of course once/if these rounds work their way out the strips or speed loader, one is again left again with dealing with them in a loose fashion. And working out small tips for optimizing their individual manipulation becomes valuable again. For what little that is worth. (Borrowed photo)
