Objective: The shooter must demonstrate the ability to make decisive hits and combat load with the combat shotgun in a fast paced exercise.  

Targets: Three speed poppers and three 8X12 inch falling steel plates (T1-T6). Targets will be set in three pairs of two, roughly 5 yards apart. 

Ammunition Needed: 6 rounds of buckshot 

Begin Exercise: The shooter will be 12 yards distant from targets. Combat load with 3 rounds and come to a low ready position. On the signal, knockdown T1 & T2. Take a lateral step to get off the X, RELOAD with 1 round and knockdown T3 & T4, RELOAD with 1 round and knockdown T5 & T6. Knockdown any remaining targets with the pistol. VERIFY EMPTY before stepping off the line. 

Scoring: Low time wins! (Paladin Scoring). A 5 second penalty will be added to the time for each miss. Any Targets left standing= No-Go.
